 China's Next Miracle?  Chinese banks have been barred from doing business in the US for 15 years.  Now some of the large banks in China know how to manage risk and because of the huge capital requirements in a growth economy should be able to operate in the United States.  Chinese banks will likely start in the US by serving corporate clients. At the same time Chinese banks begin to operate in the US, they should allow foreign banks to take a larger stake in Chinese domestic financial institutions.
